Derale electric fans
Sorry, meant to start a new thread instead of replying to a nine year old thread. Has anyone here used this kit? I think you have to purchase a controller also.

Haha, you made me write a big post for nothing! Just kidding, I suppose I should have payed attention to the dates also.
I have not used that kit, but it looks similar to my flex-a-lite kit. I'm pretty sure you would need some type of controller for the fans to turn on automatically or a manual switch. Either that or you might be able to get creative and wire into coolant temperature sensor to turn on for a certain resistance. That seems like it would be a little too much work IMO though.

you do these electical fans right dont cut any corners and they are well worth the money and work. I did a kit in my mustang and like it a lot, gets rid of the loud fan noise give better fuel mileage and HP gains.
most kits come with everything you need but like ^^ said you will need to make sure to get the extra switched if you dont already have them. Another thing is make sure that you are getting enough push with the fans better to go a lil over than right at or under for the air it will need to stay cool.
