All those readings are when the engine is all warmed up and I am cranking. What really sucks is I have not even made my second truck payment yet. I am really starting to regret not getting a Chevy or dodge. But I really liked the way the ford drove and the interior over all the others in my price range.

Sorry, missed the icp reading. Try unplugging the icp and see if it starts. Icp needs to be at least 500 psi.

Unknown. But I am thinking so the stc looked original and the truck has about 198,000 on it.

That was my first guess too. Same thing happened to my truck back in April. I replaced the STC with the new updated one, and still had the intermittent no start when hot. I ended up having to also replace the standpipes. Runs good now.

If it's starting up for you when it's cold, I would expect the HPOP is working fine. I would suspect the standpipes/dummy plugs.

In that model (updated hpop), there's really no reason to do the stc without also doing the stand pipes and dummy plugs. On the bright side, you've done the hard part already, and that hpop rarely has a problem.

With that many miles, you should consider an air test on the hpo system to validate the dps and sps are leaking, and not an injector or two.

I will be doing an air test In a couple weeks since I have to go back up to Frisco from la and the truck will be staying home. It was at a shop a few weeks back for the same problem thr shop says he did an air test and ended up replacing two injectors and some o rings then the problem started again about a week later

Well, in that case you could be looking at ball tube (nipple cup) oring issues if the same injector orings are bad now.

Not much more than changing an injector. You just need a special tool and an oring set. You have to pull the oil rails.

It could be that the shop that installed the injectors didn't install the correctly.

I have had such bad luck with shops I will not be taking my truck to any shops. I am very comfortable working on engines I am restoring my 79 jeep Cherokee and am in the midst of a full engine rebuild and swap on my 83 cj5 so I am not affrid of the work. What is the special tool I need so I can order it so I have it if needed.also can I get the o ring set from my local ford dealer ? Anybody got a part number
