what plugs were put in? these engines only like common copper core plugs. the fancy titanium and platnum plugs usually make them run like crap.

I'll start another thread but to answer TJC transport I used "Autolite Double Platinum" APP25 Spark plug gap .o44 inch

"Belden Edge Premium 8MM wires"

get a set of autolite or motorcraft copper core plugs and try them. i bet it will purr after you remove those double platnum plugs.

I use Belden Premium wires and used to use Autolite 25's.
My truck ran fine with copper plugs.

Had QC problems with the Autolite's and switched to NGK conventional plugs.
