Looking for a shifter boot cover for my sons 64' F100, 292 Y-Block with 4spd on the floor. His is completely missing. Scrounged through the local junk yard to day, but didn't find any thing.


Will other years fit?

 

Topic came up fairly recently: I opened the 'forum' menu at the top of this page under search category entered 'shifter boot' then narrowed the search to the 61-66 forum and came up w/ a couple of links may find helpful??

I salvaged a boot off of a later model Ford truck that appeared similar/same as the earlier model boot.

 

It's not missing, because: No shift lever boot was available for 1961/64's with the Warner T-98 4 speed.

C0TB-8112130-A .. Transmission Cover Weather Pad / 7" O.D. x 2" I.D. x 2" thick / Obsolete

This foam rubber pad was located on the shift lever below the floor pan to keep air/water/snow and etc from entering the cab.
