88 F-150 hydraulic clutch

my clutch is grabbing too close to the floor, and when i release the clutch, my truck stalls out.

i've adjusted fluid levels, and no dice, and and all help would be appreciated.

88 F-150 hydraulic clutch

Don't know your particular model but you might check if the clutch is adjusted properly. Usually there is a mechanical adjustment either at the clutch pedal or at the slave cylinder where it goes into the bellhousing. You might also need to bleed air bubbles out of the hydraulics.

hmm, everyone is saying air bubbles... where is the hose? i might just do that....

actaully, my mom showed me how to drive a manual, so all is good with the world
