No responses from Texans yet, I hope that the beating they are taking is not to rough on them. I sat in on a hurricane during bootcamp one summer in San Antonio, it rained like I've never seen it before although that was all we got being inland and all. Man was it ever humid for days afterward..

I got just a little rain here in Cypress, which is just nortwest of Houston. I haven't made it down to my farm yet. Hopefuly I got some of the much needed rain down there.

i live in clear lake. galveston county. wasn't that bad. the lake was up high, the kemah waterfront was pretty much flooded. its fun to hit all those water holes in my truck though. but it didn't last to long. my brother is getting married this weekend right on the water luckily the place didn't get it to bad and it will all be fixed by then.

I live in San Antonio... nice 5-7" of rain. Never bitch about rain in South Texas.

5-7 inches of rain isn't bad, we got that plus an extra 5 to 10 feet of water floods from the gulf
