What happened to GM's HD sales?

They have them in the small compartment on top of the dash but nothing in the main center console which is where 99.9% of the people will plug their phones in to charge. GM's have 2 in the main dash that are easy access, 2 more inside the center console and 2 on the back of the console for use by people in the rear seat.

I have a USB port in the center stack, it'll charge a phone. Pretty low current output though so it's not fast.
I like the GM & Ford trucks. None of the manufacturers release new tech platforms as the same time so one or the other will be out of sync which makes year vs year comparisons harder. This is the only Ford diesel I've had but we've had a few DMax's, all higher mileage. Only issues with the Allison was with higher power tunes causing slipping in upper gears. Can't say that I'm overwhelmed with the Ford trans or engine either though.

Most people eventually wise up to Mr Goodwrench! When GM came out with their first diesel, the 5.7 gas with diesel heads, I wouldn't have touched that with a 48 foot pole! Then in the early 80's, they came out with the "diesel built" 6.2l; which I thought was a fairly good engine, I bought one. Well, to make a long story short, the engine was fine, but the transmission, transfer case, HPFP had the thing in the shop for about 3 months for the year that I had the thing. Mr Goodwrench was absolutely asleep, and getting parts was impossible. For those that don't ever need service, the GM may be fine, but for me, never again!
