Oil baffles

I bought edelbrock bare heads for my build and just getting ready to do valve job and install springs and was wondering if I need to use the stock oil baffles from the iron heads? Also, I've read where restricting the oil flow in the heads is a good idea. How is this accomplished? If someone can school me on this subject, that would be great. Thanks!

I can't help with your question about the baffles but according to the tech folder which is linked to in this forum, the Edelbrock heads come pre restricted so they should be good to go as is.

As I was saying, if you go to the tech folder and then click on the oil mods link you can find it there or here is a link: http://www.clubfte.com/users/ratsmoker/oilmods.html

(if the link doesn't work just copy and paste into your browser)

Good luck with your project!!
