Hub clicking?

So recently my drivers unlockable warn hub has been clicking. It clicks roughly 4 times per tire rotation and it clicks both engauged and dis engauged. The hub still locks and unlocks, I'm at a loss of understanding of what it could be . Any ideas?
I tried some online research but it's difficult to match google results with my symptoms..

Sometimes this here internet will not provide the answer. It's time to pull the locking hub apart and inspect. Bearings could also be going south.... If OK, lube it up and reassemble. Test.

Perhaps the circlip on the end of the axel has gone South on you, and the axel is moving in and out?? check out the hubs... both..

Hmm time to pull it apart, maybe someone left in the old ford springs in it when they installed the warn hubs. Or bad bearing like listed above.

I intend to open up the hubs this weekend to take a look. I'm hoping for an easy fix.

Let us know what you find amigo... always interesting to diagnose problems from thousands of miles away, and by using noises... good luck with it..

So I opened it up today. And to my surprise I believe it's the wheel bearing lol.
I removed the entire locking hub unit, covered the axle tip and drove around the block. The noise was extremely loud. Also the clicking only happens under weight, it won't click when the axle is off the ground

Should have been some roughness while turning the wheel back & fourth. I've seen where the inner wheel bearing has failed and had messed up the spindle enough that it needed replacing. Time to pull it all down and repack or replace as needed.
New seals are a must. tho.

Also check for leaking wheel cylinders roll bac the dust cap if any wetness it's leaking.

Will do, and no the wheel spun just fine. It wasn't the usual grinding noise I'm used to with failed bearings. It's literally a high pitched click..
But either way I gotta get the splined socket for removing the wheel bearing ring. So I won't be overhauling anything tonight :/
