I think it'd cost the same for the swap as a new automatic would.

Ive done the swap several times. A donor truck is the best way to go, but not always possible. There are no kits for this swap, all the parts have to come from manual trucks, or truck if you have a donor.

I bought a donor truck for 800 bucks. Paid 700 for my Valair flywheel and clutch kit. 200 to get driveshafts cut and welded...... sold 600 bucks in parts from the donor truck..... Total investment -- the best 1100 bucks I ever spent.

The guy who I bought my truck off of did the swap. He claims the dealership did it. It was **** poor work. All the wiring laying g everywhere. P/n switch zipped tied to the frame. Wrong crossmember. It's all fixed now. If you're needing a clutch setup and flywheel out of a 460 I'll have one for sale soon. Low miles. Swapping out for a diesel.

Brian, I love the mule you have pulling your house! The t500, was there any change in performace gain on top end? My 7.3 feels like its out of breath stretched out. Was wondering.... btw, my fav color! Mules are born black.... its natural!

Thanks. I like the black, but it shows every speck of dirt.... I installed the t500 the same time I installed the stage ones, so I dont know if it would be different with the stock hpop. I don't really run my truck that hard, except for pulling the "house", but it has never ran out of top end power on me.
