I need some help removing the headliner on my "71 Ranchero. The rear is easy, it just tucks under the rear window weatherstrip.
I cannot figure out how to get the front clip off to remove the front next to the windshield. I have removed the end clips held on with screws, but I cannot tell if I need to slide the front piece to one side, or if it should pry off.
I am afraid to force it for fear I will tear something up that is difficult to replace.

Any help would be appreciated.
