What Brand Multimeter do you use?

Yes, I have held it in my hands. It is a very nice meter and would not be a bad choice at all. My personal preference is the Fluke, partly because of the "look and feel" of the Fluke suits me better. I think that the case is tougher and more durable. The Klein is made in Korea, The Fluke is made in China. The Klein has a 2 year warranty. The Fluke has a 3 year warranty. (The "made in USA" Flukes have a lifetime warranty). The electricians that I talk to, prefer the Fluke meters over the Kleins. I am an Electrical Engineer, NOT a licensed electrician, but I have done a LOT of residential electrical work. I have also done a lot of automotive work over the past 50 + years. (Yes, I am 70 + years old) Keeping up with all of the new electronics systems can be a challenge. I have a huge investment in equipment and try to buy the tool that best suits the job.
For the person that occasionally uses his meter, it doesn't make sense to spend so much money, but if your livelihood depends on getting the job done right and quickly, the cost of the meter becomes somewhat irrelevant.
Also, a really good tool that lasts a long time can be the least expensive because it doesn't have to be replaced so often.
Having said all of that, I like the Klein meter and would not be disappointed to see it in your hands. It doesn't have the "voltage sensing" feature that the 117 does, but it does have the microamps scale for your comfort zone. By the way, I would like for you to tell me the first time that you use that feature. Maybe when you are monitoring the charge current from your solar panels.
For others who have asked questions about the build quality and features of the "made in china" Fluke meters, I would refer you to the two videos that I posted earlier in this thread.

I again appreciate your insight. It's not that I am gonna use the microamps setting, it's just the fact that the I would be buying something that doesn't read it. You know the deal, got to have it all.

Leads.

Without a good set of leads a meter is frustrating at best and dangerous at worst.

+1 on fluke
I bought my first fluke 8020 as a teenager for $189. That dented my newspaper delivery earnings. lol
It lasted a good 20yrs until the display blackened the day it started letting me see thru girl clothes. Lol
I currently use a fluke87. No need to say more!!!
I also have a freebie throwaway meter i got from harbor freight with a coupon when i bought something a while ago. It works well for a quick and dirty measurement just to see if something is there but i rarely use it
