The only cable needed is the cruise control cable, which I can deal with. The oem throttle cable is reused in the kit.

So, KB included 39 lb injectors that I do not have. I will be getting those along with the delta force programming software for the tune.

It's now just a matter on buying new fuel and vacuum hoses, a couple idler pulleys and I should have all needed parts.

Thinking I need to send supercharger to KB to be reworked. I see a little oil on lobes. It could be that shipping the unit to 8000 ft pushed oil out seals due to.the low air pressure up here, I do not know.
You can use whatever size injector you want. Might want to look into the quarterhorse for tuning.

Well, my exhaust leaks are fixed( what a PAIN IN THE ****) . Hydro assist brake booster installed.

Now its time for the KB Supercharger install.

Have 30 LB injectors, Innovative Wide Band AF meter, and Delta Force tuner. Hope OEM fuel pump and fuel regulator work with 6 psi boost. Wide band will tell me if they are not up to par. I think they will be as at 8000 ft of elevation 6 psi boost is equivalent to about 3 psi at sea level.

Wish me luck.....

I am having second thoughts! The X runs so much better now with exhaust manifolds fixed. Engine runs and starts like it's new. Has good power and very dependable.

Maybe I should just sell the KB kit and start a project to rebuild a junk yard V10 2V with 11:1 pistons. That way in a few years if I need a new motor I can just drop in the high compression rebuild.

No, you should do the blower. Motor build gets stupid expensive.

Boost is a wonderful thing

No, haven't aborted yet.

Accidently found another 2000 excursion 4X4 limited for $1600, and it's been eating up my time.

It has 217000 miles on it now and I'm thinking of putting the KB on it.

Guess it time to get started.

It is going on my 2000 excursion XLT.

107,000 miles on it and vacuum brake booster has been replaced with a hydro boost unit.

Will be dropping tank and installing a 250 lpm fuel pump and new larger injectors, so don't think I will wire up the boost a pump in photo.

Here is what I have.... going to use sniper software to program.

Instal thread will be on excursion forum as its going in an excursion.

Pulled everything out of storage.
