My 93 had the radio removed and the plugs cut from the prev owner and i cut the plugs off a 95 f150 harness an took a radio from another 95 f150. I matched all the same colored wires up and connected those ones but the radio doesnt come on or light up. There is 4 wires behind the dash that dont match up to the colors on the plugs. There is a dark blue one with orange stripe. There is 2 black ones with white stripes and a green one with yellow stripe and that one has power. On the all black radio plug there are 3 left over wires a tan one with yellow stripe a green one with orange stripe and a blue one with white stripe. And on the black and white radio plug there are 2 heavy wires a black with green stripe and green with purple stripe and there is a small wire that is all black. If i hook the solid black wire up to the one behind the dash that has power the radio will light up so should i connect those. It still doesnt turn on. But the radio works it came from my old truck. I need to know what else i can do or what wires to match up i dont have a lot of fuses to keep trying. So can someone help.

 

Yellow- 12 volt battery constant
Red -12 volt ignition switched
Orange- illumination/dimmer
Black- chassis ground
Dark blue- power antenna
Blue/white - amp remote

This is on my 1994.
