Plastic crown nut in idler pulley

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a certain way the crown nut that is on the idler pulley bolt should be positioned. It's a 99 Explorer with a V8. Seems like a strange design....

I believe the 4.0 engine shares the same idler puller. This is the upper idler pulley and not the tensioner pulley.

Thanks,

Mike

looks like a black bolt with a round silver circle in the middle of it ? make sure you dont break or snap it if you try messing with it if its a plastic one it will probly break like mine dip.
