That brings back bad memories, I had a 1985 F150 that looked like that back in 1990...2 more payments left when it happened. So it was stolen then set on fire? What happened to the hood?

So, they stole the truck just to burn it to the ground?

Looks like the stripped it of what they wanted, and then burnt it down. Did they take the engine/trans/etc?

Sorry for your loss. I fear that insurance won't come close to the value of your truck.

4th picture down it almost looks like the intercooler pipes are still there which would make me believe the motor was untouched...I guess it would be kinda hard to tell what they took anyways

I was at the Power Rally this past summer and remember that truck well.

It's a shame what they did to that truck, it was such a beautiful truck!

That wasn't Anthony's truck, to be honest I was mortified at the thought that it was his truck I was going to see. Still a low down shame though....

Sorry for your loss. Looks like it may have started in the cab and spread to the engine compartment.
Most fire damage to the paint is on the cab. But then I am not a arson investigator.

My first thought was, damn I thought Anthony had the new body style bed, but the post made it seem like it was his.

Still, a lot of money was put into this truck and it's a shame.

Thieves did that to me back in 1989. Stole my very clean 76 F250 4x4. I was in the middle of a divorce so my truck was my last remaining prized possession in the world. She was a freaking race car with a 430 horse 460 engine and 4 speed trans. Found her upside down in the desert, a burned shell missing all four tires and rims and blown enging. They apparently rolled her, while taking her for the ride of their life, then removed the 35" wheels to sell. It makes me sick to see the pics you posted. So sorry that you have to experience this, Anthony. I know all too well the sick anger that I'm sure you're feeling.

That's what I thought at first--I would puke myself if this was Anthony ' s truck. Still makes me sick though.
