Rust in fuel system

Rust in fuel system
A few weeks back the filter light came on so put a new filter...came on again a couple days ago figured no way is the filter dirty again so I checked the pressure of the electric pump and was barely getting 3psi with the truck off.
Got a new inline earlier today along with an inline filter before the pump to protect it...within 5 minutes the truck wouldn't stay running...new filter before pump was packed with rust as was the one I changed a few weeks ago
Replace the $3 prefilter and spin on...got down the street was full again...replaced again drove to Walmart to get some more made it no issue...came out put new filter in and the new pump crapped out will be returning tomorrow and getting the carrier/facet pump everyone else runs...drove home on the weak pump that I replaced.....
Any suggestion for clearing the rust from the system?
Doesnt matter which tank is selected...
