Figured out what the problem was the harmonic balancer was cracked so that's what happened to mine

 

Quite unseal but it goes along with causing retarded ignition you would have saw by looking at the timing with a Scanner.
The timing wheel is part of the front crank pulley assembly the Crank sensor uses to reference crank position for all other functions.
The timing went extremely retarded causing the motor to lose power.
This would cause the exhaust manifolds to run Red and could even cook the cats.
