Hey all, I've got a problem with my superduty headlights. I just noticed tonight when going down the drive that my fog lights and parking lights were on, but no headlights. When I turn the switch from auto headlights to the on position everything works fine....any suggestions?????? My truck is a 2006 f250 xlt

 

Got some 06~07 wiring diagrams for you to look at.
I would think that maybe the light sensor is bad.
But if the parking are coming on and the headlights
are not could also be a bad relay.

So I had a few minutes to look at the truck this morning before I went to work. I started the truck only to find the same problem, parking lights and fog lights on but no headlights, did a quick once over of the engine bay but nothing looked out of place. I shut the hood and the headlights came on!!!😄 I shut off the ignition and restarted and the lights were working. I went to work and when I got home I had errands to run, started the truck and no headlights, opened and shut hood and walah, headlights again. Now its back to no headlights in auto setting. Not sure if I have a bad ground or what but I'll post something if I get it figured out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Something to do with the control relay.
