Ok, I have searched the archives and not seeing the answer here. I am putting in my HEI dizzy. I am having trouble finding spark plug wires that match my old ones (length, and straight ends). My local auto parts man can't determin which chevy motor or ford to use for the part number. Can someone guide me as to which ones to use, and its part number?

 

The 1976 fe's had the Dura spark dizzy with is the same type of dizzy plug wires & boots
But, I think I used the 1976 351/460 wires.

Yea mind is 71 4wd with 390, as long as it's an FE Block all the same.

Did you have any issues with them being to long or short?

 

Maybe you should just buy a universal self tailoring wire set. Then cut your perfect set.

Why, I when to the 351c/460 set was I have tall Cobra fined valve covers.
All pretty uniform on both sides these our the same wires I used with HEI dizzy

 

I'd look at a mid 70's old with a 455. You may have to change the boots and ends, it would get you close to what you want.
