460 front leafs on a 7.3

thinking of swaping the axles and suspension from my 95 f350 460gas that caught on fire onto my 92 f250 7.3 diesel. wana do the swap to upgrade my diesel to the dana 60 and I would like to swap the front springs also. just to give it a little more height so that I can use the 350's 4in blocks and helper spring in the rear and it will sit level. question is do you guys think the front leaf springs off my f350 gas will hold up if I put thim on my 250 diesel? will the extra weight of the engine make a difference? just curious because the springs on my 250 diesel now look a lot thicker than the ones on my f350 gas.
