So I got a new button for my push button 4x4 and it still does not work. my guess is the motor is bad but I have no way of knowing and have hit a financial wall.

My goal is to make my electric push button transfer case into a manual. My idea is to use the mounting components and shaft from the electric motor and tie them into a cable system that I can control from inside the cab. I will then use an emergency hand brake to control and lock the position of the cable.

My premiss for this this mod is the same that enable this device "the shifster" to work. only I wont have to get my but out of the truck to change it.

Any thoughts?

I started a thread about an electric to manual set up too, but I was thinking about taking the entire

TC out an installing a manual TC.

This idea looks like something worth trying.
