"Asking a fair price"

Classic 1979 Ford F100 Ranger

Does anyone else think a this price is fair?

 

I think its too much, I get it, all original unrestored but 9k? Dont think so. I ve seen restored trucks for the same price. I think its a 5k asking price type truck so you can get 3500-4000.

 

I think 78f350 is right that's a little steep.

 

It Sure is overpriced . But really unmolested.... But I've seen trucks in Florida run higher than Texas or California. I always see better deals in those states. Texas is where I got mine. Is close to you? Check it out... Let's see why the seller is putting 9k as a sticker price.

I agree with '78f350. Craigslist pix and text cane very misleading. You really have to eyeball the item, drive it around and poke, poke, poke. There is more detailed info on how to approach a prospective buy that you will find on this forum.

 

NADA has it a $7,243

 

Too far for me to check out at that price. He would have to come down to less then half.

Around here in KY that price isn't too far off if he is willing to haggle. Rust free and mostly original trucks go for around 7k. I know of an F250 4x4 longbed that is sitting on 40" tires about to sell for 10k and its in worse condition. Gotta love the rust belt..
