Good Morning Everybody!
The guy with the '48 didn't realize he was out of time, so we're gonna put that off until I feel better. I still have the van to do and fix the springs in a seat I'm trying to sell. Then I'm gonna work on getting the new truck legal. ...at least in my name. I have to call to set up a time to get the windshield put in it, too. That's the biggest thing. Then I'm gonna roll the '73 in the shop and get busy. It'll be nice to get a little floor space back.

Chip. If you don't get to it in time, I got my visor off today and welded in the holes. I have no intention of putting it back on. I even saved the screws and plastic caps. It'll be in the shop when you need it. I don't plan on being very active after Monday.
I got the van done too. The guy couldn't get the brakes to bleed. He put two, that's TWO right hand calipers on the front. The passenger side was fine, but the bleeder for the driver's side was on the bottom.
I also found the original problem with it making a right turn when you stabbed the brakes. The passenger side radius arm bushing was SHOT!! It had a good 1" of movement. That allowed the control arm to fold under when the brakes were hit.
The guy offered me pretty awesome money to come in two or three days a week and fix some of the stuff nobody else here locally can seem to. It'll be steady money and he'll make out too, getting some of his cars ready to sell.

Good Morning Everybody!
I'm gonna have to put off getting the glass in the new truck. I have too much to do around here today to drive up to Springfield. They can't come out and do it until Monday, and that's just not going to work. So I guess I'll just transfer the titles and worry about the inspection and glass when I get better.

Pat, man! What the heck is up with that pink paint you gave me??!! I sprayed it. It was dry to the touch but still gummy the next day. (very easy to put a finger print in) The day after that, it was drizzling when I got to the shop. All the paint on the roof and deck lid lifted! I pulled it back inside to keep it dry. It was STILL tacky. Today I went it and it's almost dry enough now that you can't leave a finger print in it, but MOST of the bad finish laid back down.( again!) I'm gonna let it cure in the shop and see what happens. I think I can color sand and buff what's left out of it. I've never seen anything like this junk.
