Just throwing this out there. A guy stopped by the shop today with a set of wheels for sale. He has a nice set of four turbine wheels, 16.5" X 8.25", 8 lug. If anyone is interested I can get you his phone number. They're in southwest Missouri and he wants $100 for all four.

Yeah, he drives a dump truck for the guy behind my shop. I think I left his number at the shop. I'll get it to you first thing in the morning.

Dang Rich and his turbines. Well, it looks like we might be putting my free 6.0 with a broken valve into an 05 mazda rx-8. Stay tuned.

I have sold a few sets of them to other FTE folks. I like slotted mags even more, but the turbines are # 2 in my old school cool book.

Staying tuner tuned for the swap story.

good morning missouri.. i took part of the afternoon off yesterday to go to the dmv and get the 41 put in my name (finally).. i figured i should start a new policy of getting trucks put in my name before spending time and money on restoring them..
alan i know how that goes.. that is why i dont like to stop working once i get moving.. usually if i slow down it is hard to get cranking again..

Text me and "I killlllll you!" lol I hate such a impersonal way to communicate, just call me at the house with it. lol

Well I am hearing aided up now....WOW no more getting away with "What you say honey, I can't hear you".

Cool deal on the EB there Chip and on getting the boy married off, congrats to them both.

Grandson is going to be "mutton busting" tomorrow night, Yahoo Cowboy!

Rich. I promise I'll get that number tomorrow. My legs quit working yesterday and weren't working this morning either, so I went to work on crutches. Between finishing the Honda and getting the cop car front brakes apart, I just plain forgot to get the number.

Chip. Great news all around.

Speaking of getting the Honda done, here it is. The passenger side headlight was centered over the right front wheel. It was considerably shorter when I got it. I had to replace the substructure in the front, along with most everything else up there. I'm still missing a few pieces, but it's about done.

Here's a picture of the hood. Not a bad paint job for a crippled guy.

Looks great! Rich, I found out one of her uncles is an old high school buddy of mine...been thirty years and it was like we'd been hanging out ever since school. Mutton busting? Like sheep rodeoing? Sounds perfect for a kid to get started in rodeo.
