well, the sturgeon said no to knee replacement, and wants to do a gel insert.
the bad news is it takes 4-6 weeks for it to come in, so i will have to be in pain for at least another month.
he said he could do a replacement, but does not think i need it quite yet, figuring with the gel insert i should be able to get another 10 or so years out of what i have, longer if i can loose a significant amount of weight.

I like them, but my wife can not stand the smell of fried bologna so I do not make them too often.

if you guys keep talking about fried bologna sammiches with fried onions, i may fall off the diet wagon.
i was a good boy today. no donuts, 1 cup of black coffee and 1 egg on white toast for breakfast, a small turkey sammich and a bottle of water for lunch, and a salad for dinner. i am so damn hungry, i am ready to take a bite out of the laptop!!!
