I think that I will be searching for all the parts for a SAS over the next few months for when I do the lift. Seems like the cost is pretty close to the same as just buying a 4" lift and screwing with the geometry.
Do you have to lift the truck in order to do the SAS?
Yes. If I remember correctly, the lowest you can go is a 4" lift for a SAS. That is essentially swapping in what the solid axle 44's came with in the late 70's. They were about 4" taller. You can use the coils from those trucks as well. Need a custom Trac bar, or one from an f250 or 350. Other odds and ends as well.

4" lift would be good, SAS would be good, I wonder if I could swap my limited slip gearset from my TTB into the solid front.
