off topic : lost my buddy
sorry about posting this here but i feel you guy's would understand . i lost my garage buddy last friday , he was only 9 years old , and man it freaking hurts / bothers me bad . i'm talking about butch aka mallethead , my bulldog . i'm not one to show emotion but looking out back at his empty dog house and at the fresh dug grave causes me to lose control . never in my wildest dreams would i ever think i would become so emotionally attached to an animal , although in his case he was my youngest son and a hyper turd at that . well i kinda got it off my chest now so thanx for listening as i can't talk to the wife or kids or grand kids as they are in a worse state than i over his passing .

I too am sorry to hear about your pet. I'm opposite I guess....I am an emotional person and it almost kills me to see a pet go. I've gone so far as to avoid getting another for nowbecause I just can't take the loss. Let it all out till all that's left is the memories. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm sorry to hear you are having to go through losing your pet. As others have said, let it out and with time it will get better. We lost my wife's cat in an accident a few months ago and I couldn't believe how much it affected me. We waited a few months to get another cat and it has helped fill the void, but we don't forget about Cortez the Killer!

So sorry! I have been where you are and in some ways I am still there. You can get some comfort knowing that while your best buddy was here he got the best of you and you got the best of him. While transferring some pet ashes from one place to another for a friend I found this saying in the urn, " until we meet again at the rainbow bridge." It really helps me to think of it that way and I hope it helps you.
