Hello All:

I have an 06 F150 XLT and lately the map lights blink when starting and driving. This does not occur every time but it sure is aproblem when driving at night. Any suggestions as to what is causing this and hopefully a minor repair.

I appreciate any suggestions.

 

This is a very simple circuit, hot wire feeds a switch in the map light assembly, switch feeds the sockets for the bulbs. It's going to have to be something at the light assembly. The hot wire is a lightgreen/yellow.

The black/lightblue wire is the domelight wire feed. It's different and it's power comes from a interior lamp relay in the fuse box.
