94' 460 heater elbow, part number?

Guys the 90° elbow just under the thermostat that screws into the block is corroded. Any actual part name or number would be most helpful.

never mind, CARQUEST had it for me even though it wasn't in the computer. And it's nice this the passage is a little bigger inside, or maybe that's just a buildup of corrosion

I made my own since i didn't want to mess with moving any brackets to install the factory style part.

looks good. I didn't have to move anything, since the engine was already hot but I took it off, luckily I didn't burn myself, I used the flat blade of a screwdriver to gently push that 3 inch connector hose between the water pump and the block inward, and the new one threaded in just fine.

carquest is literaly a half mile from my house and the hardware store is more than 5 miles so I figured a half mile drive with a leak wasn't that bad.

Mine had an old 3/4" pipe nipple in place of the original Ford part. In order to loosen the rusty fitting I needed to get a pipe wrench on to the pipe… wasn't going to happen without removing the bypass hose and the alt. mount.

If I ever remove the alt. I'll put the correct part on… until then it will look like a plumber fixed it.
