WTB Tail Lights 57-60 Panel Truck

I know this has been covered before and these guys are virtually unobtainium but I have to ask.

I'm in desperate need of a pair for my 57 panel van.
I would even repop them if I could borrow decent to mold from.
Any an all help is appreciated.

Thanks
Matthew

I've never seen but one pair of used ones on Ebay over the years and they were something like $250. Good luck. I would be happy to just find a set of lens.

All I really need are the lenses as well. I have decent a left one but need a right side.

I'm currently in discussions with a company that will repop the lenses.
If the cost is not too prohibitive I will move forward with that.

Thats not the tail light, it's the one that goes on the door and has the license plate light on the bottom side not visible in the picture. I have three of those.. The tail lights are a rap around type.

All the ones listed on Ebay right now are the licence plate one (think third tail light) I have a lots of those.

This is what the tail light lens looks like. (see below)

I have more or less hammered out the fine details with the company that will repop them and the cost is not prohibitive. I'm ready to move forward with repopping them I will do 10 or 20 pair (left and rights) But I need a good right hand lens (I have a left) to pattern from. If some one would be willing to loan me a good right hand one. No cracks chips or deep gouges. I would repay their kindness with a pair of new repops.

The balance I will offer up for sale to recoup some of my costs.

Matthew

I wish I could help but mine are showing their age and wouldn't make the grade.

Well spread the word around if you can. I'm dead serious about making this happen the cost for me is not prohibitive. I have sourced or can source near everything else for my truck.
I just need these guys and they have been kicking my butt.

My Panel truck is a 57 with the 292 and three on the tree. Furthermore it is an ex RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) unit. It will be a stock restoration except for the addition of power disk brakes have to be able to stop in todays traffic.
Body is solid except for front floor pans that are completely rotted out.

I only know of one other panel owner in my area but the truck is in storage now as the owner had a stroke. But I have seen requests for these on the forum in the past.
Who makes a power brake unit that fits and clears the clutch master cylinder?
