the park linkage

i have a 69 f-250 with a 390 and a c6. i couldn't move the shift lever this morning so i took off the external linkage and tried to shift by hand and it would not move so i took off the pan and the valve body and it still won't move it seems like the park linkage is stuck it looks like it is bent where the linkage goes on the valve body. someone put a floor shift in place of the colum shift and i think that messed up the internal linkage, when i try to start it it jumps in gear so i tried to shift and it would not move. help!!!!!

Sounds like someone jambed it in Park before coming to a stop. Key word is Jambed there. Lift up the rear wheels SAFELY. Un-jamb what's jambed and straighten what's bent.
