My truck is a 1987 f150... my granpa drove this truck around since 1992 or 93 and then retired it to a farm truck and a few years ago he gave it to me.. since this is the truck I will be driving around when u get my license (I'm 15) I wanted to make the truck mine... it started out as a 1987 f150 xlt lariat.. I always wanted a 4 wheel drive truck and so did my granpa I figured I can try to make it 4x4. I got myself some money (everything on this truck I bought with my own money that I worked for and I do all my work on my truck) and I bought a parts truck... the truck I bought was a 1982 f150 with a 302 and c6 tranny, 9 inch rear end, np208 transfer case, and a dana 44 ttb... I took the axles transmission and transfer case off that truck and put it on my truck so now my truck is converted 4x4... I built a light bar for the truck and a bull bar.. my plans for this truck are to use the 351 out of the parts truck and build that motor up how I want ( I'll list the parts later) the motor in my truck now is a 302... I'll post some pictures and tell me what u guys think

Now my plans for the truck that I'm doing right now is to take the 351 windsor and build it up and put it in this truck... I'm putting a 4 barrel intake manifold on the 351, I would like to buy the holley truck avenger carb (if anyone has one they would sell fairly cheap I might be interested) and I'm porting the heads, putting a new cam in the motor and rebuilding it... I am switching from efi to carburated is because I don't know how to work on efi systems because it's to much electronic stuff and wires to deal with and I hate the fact that I currently can't see my engine because of all the wires... BTW I painted my valve covers green. I'll post a picture of them later
