Injectors on V-10 <hr size="1" style="color: rgb(209, 209, 225); background-color: rgb(209, 209, 225);"><!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> How do you make the injectors fire when out of the motor.
I saw a guy on u-tube with an AA battery and he was making them shoot cleaner out of the injector.
Before I mess up anything I thought I'd ask.

Recently I had the manifold gasket replaced on the passenger side.
Ended up the mechanic had to pull the motor to accomplish this job.
That's why I had it done.
Trucks got over 300 and still runs fair.

 

Regular 12 volts is fine, the computer controls the injector by pulse-width modulation.

The injectors get straight 12 volts on the red wire, and the computer grounds the other side.

Just be careful with flammables and sparks

I found a guy that does WONDERS with Electronic Fuel Injectors ~ CHEAP!!!

NOW I'm waiting for Him to get back to me with permission to SHARE His contact Info... : ?

 

I would take them to an injector shop that will clean, flow and provide new o rings.

I recently took a set of 4 Honda injectors too a Doctor Injector local to me who did all I mentioned for the price of one. I know there are some of the same franchise in California, not sure about other states though.
