Twin I Beam Pivot Modification
#18
I had thought about this, but never got beyond measuring stages. My plan was more elaborate with grafting a 87+ F250 front on with a 2-3 inch Z, doing the pivot relocation, and moving the steering box up to match the pivot plus Z. The front steer made the craziness possible.
One thought I had is that I would now have to use a off-set or just longer hair pin to avoid pulling the beam to far back on compression.
Also you may have to cut out a portion of the cross member where it turns up to avoid a solid bump stop.

With the instalation of the Mark VIII motor I have a lot of clearance under the oil pan so I am going to notch the cross member for I-beam clearance
