My time has finally come!!!
So on Saturday 9-20-14 I finally took delivery of my new to me 2011 F150 XLT s/c 4x4 off road. I have nicknamed her Black Betty. She is dressed in tuxedo black with adobe cloth interior. Being the fact that Betty has the off road package she also came with 3.73.1 gears with e-locker rear diff. In the week that I have owned Betty I have logged 1000 miles on her ticker. She has returned the favor by averaging 17mpg's. Betty is powered by a coyote 5.0 and has the trailer tow package as well. So far my current mod has just been a Ford accessories bed mat. But future mods will include the turn signal mirror mod, Super Duty roof clearance lights (something that has been gone from the F150 since 1993) and possibly adding the power sliding rear window. Also I will eventually add the trailer brake controller as well. Right now that is not an issue as I don't do any towing. But in the future I plan on using Betty on towing one of my older trucks to Carlisle Pa. once a year for the annual Mid-Atlantic Ford Truck meet. Not to mention dragging other projects home. Hehehe.

Thanks for the warm replies guys. Every time get in Betty I get a huge s*** eatin grin on my face. Especially when I step on the loud pedal. However I also looked at a couple of trucks equipped with the Egobooster, which I must say I do like that engine just as much as the 5.0. But those trucks weren't as well taken care of and neither of them had the max tow option. And although I don't tow much now, I do expect that to change. And I know with my future plans that I'll be pushing the upper limits of the 5.0. But I believe that I should be fine since it won't be very often. But with the Egobooster I just feel (at least for me) that since the max tow is an option that is the way to go. And the two trucks that did have the max tow option were well above my budget for the time being. I also can't wait to see how Betty handles the snow and ice storms that Pittsburgh is known for. Although I must say that the Goodyear SR-A's don't look all that great for the deep snow. But we shall see.

I debated about a spray in liner, then went with the BedTred Pro Series liner. It looks like a permanent spay liner even though it isn't. It can be removed at any time, so far I like it. I had those rubber mats before. They do a nice job of protecting the bed floor plus they keep stuff from sliding around, however, the rest of your bed still takes a beating.
I had the Wrangler SRA's on my truck. I towed a trailers in the snow, made countless trips to Minnesota to see my daughter, we had the worst winter here in a long time & I never had a problem.
