My 2000 F150 Fuel Pump fuse keeps blowing.
Hi, new here and I have a 2000 F150 with @175K miles. Replaced the clutch about a year ago, replaced the front calipers a few weeks ago, due to the right front locking up on my way home from work. Since then, when I try to start, it blows the fuel pump fuse. (#10) Any suggestions? Thanks.

Blowing a 20 amp fuse tells you there is a pretty healthy short to ground or low resistance.
Begin by removing the 301 relay.
If the fuse holds the short is beyond that relay on the harness back to the pump or event the pump is frozen.
Check the wiring going back then remove the connector off the top of the tank to see when the circuit goes open from the shorted condition.
Only way is to chase it.
Good luck.

The clutch (too long ago) and brake (not in the neighborhood) work isn't relevant, no need to bring it into the conversation.
First, trip the inertia switch and see if the short goes away or not. That will tell you which half of the circuit the problem is in. If the short remains, then go back to the relay. If the fuse doesn't blow, then focus on the wiring back to the tank and the fuel pump.
