Heater Contro Valve Set Up

1968 F100 4x4
Currently I do not have my heater control valve installed. I have the one hose running from the water pump to the heater core and the other hose runs from the heater core, to the carb spacer and then to the single nipple.

I would like to have the hoses running to both the carb spacer and the heater control valve/heater core. In order to do so, I would need to install a double nipple, but I can't find one. I am going to make a run this week to a salvage yard to search for one.

If I can't find the double nipple inlet, would the following set up work or would it create it's own loop and reduce heater core flow?

1 hose from water pump to heater core.
1 hose from heater core to a T fitting - running to carb spacer and control valve
Out of carb spacer to a T fitting - running to single the nipple and back to control valve

If ya can't find a T manifold fitting, install a hose T to the hose coming out of the single output fitting and route to the carb spacer like normal.

Bw, the carb spacer is intended to prevent carburetor icing. If ya live on a warm climate, then there is no harm in deleting it.
