Favorite Aluminum and Chrome Cleaner?

I have very dull murky aluminum and slightly rusty chrome throughout. Do you guys have favorite products? Most of the paint in my aluminum trim is already gone so I was thinking of just using Bon Ami.

Suggestions? Thanks.

I have used Bon-Ami to remove rust stains on paint. Here's some info...https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post13371386

In terms of chrome polish, there was a thread on here a few months ago and Wenol and Mother's seemed to be the most popular.

Murky aluminum is from deteriorated anodized coating. The only way is to strip off the anodizing, polish the part, and then recoating it.

Quoting to put emphasis on this.

As for polish, treat it like sandpaper. Would you sand something rough by starting with 2000 grit and working it until it's smooth? No. I use Autosol polish first as it's kind of gritty. I work the part until it's a mirror and then I really finish it off with Mothers as it's a smoother grit.

I like Mother's Mag Polish for aluminum and regular ol' Turtle Wax Chrome Polish for chrome.

Here's a product I've been using for over a year. I'm satisfied with it's results.

Master Formula

When I polish a grille at the shop, it's all commercial work. I bring the grilles home where I wash them to get all the rouge off. I then hand polish using "Master Formula" aluminum polish, followed by the sealer.
It's definitely a noticeable difference.
