Thanks for the compliment! If I rememeber I'll get a measurement tomorrow. It's around 7' tall though off hand.

I thought so but I was confused because your mounting bracket looks nothing like the one in the picture from superlift. Must be a stock picture. Their picture shows that the mounting bracket is mounted to the front spring hanger where your pictures you had to drill through the frame and mount above the hanger.........

Yea it looks like some stupid chevy setup which never seems to make any logical sense. Word of advise though, use the existing hole inside the shackle perch as a reference, not as a mounting hole. I'd drill another hole instead about .5-1" lower and go from there for the top two holes. You'll see what I mean if you end up using them.

**Update**

Got my headers installed with hedman 3" dia. s-extension pipes. In the videos I have my borla XR-1s just hanging off the end of the extensions to hear how they sound. They sound good to me! I also installed a brake booster/master cylinder for a F350 although I don't have any pictures of that yet.

I believe those tailights are the 73 style that have metal housings and the red lenses are removeable?

New 400

Been a while since I've updated this. I recently picked up my 400 that I had built that makes 494hp/501tq and currently me and a buddy are putting it in and getting it ready to run and drive. Here's a couple videos:

My concern is what gearing to go with and would like anyone's input here. I can't decided if I want to go with 4.10s or 4.56s. It has 3.55s now with 38" tires and I drive this to and from the places I 4wheel at. The trans guy that's building the transmission for me said he's gonna try and dial up a factory ford converter to 2300rpm, so I need to be able to keep the rpms up their while cruising.

Damn that thing is a beast. The C6 is a stout trans, I think it should be fine with the right converter. I love seeing people make these 400s scream and shut up all the haters. I built my 400 a couple years ago and couldn't be happier with it. Although I'm not running those trickflow heads, so I'm not making as much power as you. What else is done to the motor? Cam specs, C/R, etc.
