Quick update: picked up a seat from a friend of mine out of what he believed to be an 80s ford truck. I switched the tracks and it went right in! Now I have an armrest!

i know its your truck but, please throw out that flat bed and put a box on it. Then it would look tough with the 38's on it. KOOL truck man.

The flat bed isn't staying. I'm just saving some money at this point and looking for a good deal on a bed which may take a while to find. Once I find one though the flat bed will be taken off quicker than you can imagine as I don't care for it at all.

UPDATE:

Just picked this gem (for my area) up today for $440 with a solid underside and good sheet metal for the most part. It's got it's cosmetic issues but it wasn't going on a show truck. You can bet I had the biggest smile on my face once we got it on!

Looks good with a bed on there! $440 is a pretty good deal on a nice bed. I myself have been searching for one. The rust on my bed isn't too bad, but it is so dented and tweaked there is no way I could ever get it straight again.

Never been a fan of visors. Bunch more places to leak later on.

The roll bar, yes if it's substantial enough to serve its purpose not just enough to hold lights.

What brand roll bar is that? I see that you purchased it from another member here but maybe the two of you can tell me the brand. Looking for a double hoop for my 79. Great looking truck by the way! Mine will be also geting the same tires soon!
