Turbo sticking or pedal sensor?

Truck sometimes not responding to throttle, yesterday was backing into drive, gave full throttle and stayed at idle. Also had P0299 code. I do have the scangauge but not sure how to tell which is causing my issue. Could this be the sensor on pedal or the turbo stuck?

You can test the ICP sensor by unplugging it and seeing if it will start and have pedal. You should also monitor the volts from the ICP sensor (ICV). I would also watch ICP, IPR, FMP at the same time.

Then if not that you can monitor VGT to start your check on the turbo.

Unplugged you should see 30+% IPR.

With ICP sensor disconnected do you have throttle?

Yes you can drive it, but I wouldn't go far because the readings you are getting with it unplugged are fake from the computer. You can get the sensor on eBay for $40

If you have functioning throttle with the ICP unplugged, problem solved you need a new ICP sensor.

Check the connector for oil soaking, if yes replace that as well.

Use Part Number 4C3Z-9F838-A

Order from Fordparts.com and use White Bear Autonation as your dealer.

Another option is:

http://psdparts.com/store/index.php?...products_id=40

For a critical sensor I would avoid offshore knock-offs.

Ok White Bear has a decent price, just trying to make sure before I buy that it will fix my problem, don't want to buy parts without knowing for certain as they are non returnable.
I would still like to know why my throttle sensor inputs are not reading.

You can drive as long as you like with the sensor unplugged to verify.

As for Scangauge, those are User generated codes and there are several X-Gauges for Scanguage that do not work properly.
