door ajar and interior lights won't go off

Ok on my pickup recently mt door ajar light on dash won't go off and the dome lights won't go off. This is driving down the road and when engine off.. only way they go off is un hook the battery any ideas

Try spraying wd40 or some other type of lubricant into the bottom of your door latches and open and close your door a few times it should loosen the switch. Its a common problem with mine I had to replace my driverside switch as it was beyond repair. If that doesn't work you will have to pull your fuse until you get it repaired.

wd-40 seems to work best, I have had problems with pb blaster making enough contact to keep the light on.
just spray it down the inner edge of the latch and open and close the doors several times, repeat for all doors.

door ajar

I did the WD-40 trick several years ago and it will cure your ailments. Ford's answer is to replace but save your money and spray away your pains.
