For an auto option, you should be able to find a C4 or C6 easily. If you want an overdrive model, look for the AOD (there are a couple of different versions, and they are picky to set up, so do your homework).
As to your title, either a 9" out of a late 50's to early 70's F100 or an 8.8" out of an explorer are common rearend options.
