Will home audio RCA's work instead of car audio ones? It seems that they are generally cheaper and seem to be thicker cable so will they work?

 

Heres a secret, it's all the same cable. 75ohm coaxial cable. In fact the stuff you use for cable TV is the same as that stuff, just a different connector.

Sure there will be differences in sheilding and that, but fundamentally it's all basically the same stuff. So to answer your question, yes the home audio stuff will work.

keep it away from the power wires or your stereo will sound crapy at low volume.example put power wires on driver side going to the amp and rca on passeger side going to the amp. this way you charging system will not effect the sound quilty.

 

Yeah Ive installed amps and all before but I just found theses cables and figured theyd work but wanted to make sure thanks guys.

Yeah like I said that cable is all the same, you can buy the stuff cheap bulk at any electrical supply store and they should have the ends as well.
