And the tire shopping begins....

I bought some treadwrights for my plow truck.
I saved $10each vs buying a off-shore brand All terrain.
had it not been my plow truck and trying to make every penny count, I would have gotten new.
treadwright needs to address their pricing schedule for their All terrain treads, and the cost of shipping is KILLING them. Why would I buy a retread for my family cruiser when another $10 gets you a brand new cooper?
I was also a bit surprised that each one took over 6oz to balance.

I was getting bored so I decided to start a new build. I'm not bored anymore. I have so many mods to do and so little time to do them.
Got an offer I couldn't refuse on the '11 so I figured I'd just start out again with a brand new warranty.

Nice! Short also lol. I hear what you are saying on the "bored" thing, but my $0 monthly payment on a 4.5 yr old truck that still has only 38,500 miles on it keeps me from doing something I might regret if I get laid off again this winter Are they the wheels off the '11?

Yea just a few of us old farts that still drive 2 doors.
It's fun to drive and it's pretty quick being so light, plus it has 4.10 gears.

I am real disappointed in my Michelin LTX M/S2's. I have about 25k on them and they are shot. Granted I haven't rotated them in 10000 miles but the rear tires the center in worn down past the wear bars. Always inflated to 35psi and checked by the shop that put them on when they were rotated. Not sure why this tire didn't last, I think it is because the weight of the truck and P rated tires I have the 275-55/20. Truck is a 2011 Crew 4x4 with 6.5 box, Lariat. Looks like I may go back to Cooper, I'd rather pay less and get the same mileage.

I would go to my tire dealer and find out for sure. This is from Tire Rack's web site.
6 Years / 70,000 Miles
Half mileage for rear if different size than front
6 Years / Free replacement first year, 2/32" or 25% of wear, then prorated until 2/32" remaining depth.
They also have a nice PDF document that spells out the whole thing.
