Question help with 5th wheel install

hi, I have a 98 f250 super duty, it has a 5th wheel gooseneck in the middle of the bed, but I have a 5th wheel camper with plate that I need to tow.
camper is up north, im in the city, I bought a 5th wheel plate now all I need is to fabricate rails and bolt to frame for installing 5th wheel plate, my question is how will I know where to ubolt the rails so it measures up to the camper plate and my truck plate without driving up there to measure? and to ensure the camper wont damage my truck is there any secret to successful travel trailer camper hook up and towing? I am single female with no resources to depend on for assistance. Please Help!

I would think that this would be a better place to look for some help.

Well, a 5th wheel and a gooseneck are two different things.

Best bet to get the 5th wheel mounted properly is to buy a frame mounting kit specific to your truck, then it will just bolt on to your truck with no fabbing or guesswork.

Look on etrailer.com for the right parts.
