Rear Lift Blocks

Hello
I have a 2014 F250 CC SB 4wd and was reading online that there is not much difference between the 250 and 350, many people even swap the rear 250 2" blocks for the 350 4" blocks.

Has anyone done this if so what were the results and/or does anyone want a set of 2" blocks, I will trade.....

Thanks!

Mike

The one thing you need to look at is if the blocks you swapping with
have a taper or not. My understanding is the Short Vs the Long beds
have square on one and tapered on the other. I have a set of 5" tapered
blocks sitting around here that I am not using. I needed the square ones
and was sold the tapered ones instead. Just as soon as I found out and
went back to get the problem fixed the shop went belly up. So I am
stuck with these.

I was thinking about doing the same thing after I bought my F-250 in July. Mine sat really level with just my tools in the back and sagged pretty bad when I put any weight in it.

I installed these last week and I am very happy with them.
2010-2014 FORD F250/350 REAR ADD A LEAF [FD250AAL] - $135.95 : Auto Spring Corporation, Idaho's Largest Inventory of Auto and Truck Springs.

They lifted the rear about 1.5" which I think is close to the F-350. The difference in ride is barely noticeable at all.

I put them to the test today with 30 sacks of concrete (2700 lbs). The truck sat about level and seemed to handle much better than before.

you might need to also add some alignment spacers in the drive train.

f-350's also have on demand / as needed overleaf springs which kick in upon being loaded.

ford tsb 14-0161 is fords way to correct ride hight. I recomend the add a leaf .it improves ride hight & adds load capacity. I am a ford master tech & do these 1-2
a month.

tsb # 14-1061., It list blocks ,shocks ,ubolts , ect... to do it fords way.
I have not done this on a truck yet due to cost., I always install 2" add a leaf (#82950) from sd springs . lifts rear of truck & adds payload .does not affect ride., Have 2011 f250 4x4 larriet plow truck . he puts salt dog spreader in bed truck sits level when loaded with salt3500LB

Hello-
I am sorry I have ben out of it the last month or so, I have been dealing with a busy work schedule and some health things.

They did not complete the work, they said it was because I had the base suspension.

Either way, I guess I am still on the hunt for rear blocks-

Got a set of 5" tapered ones here
in you want talk about it.

That will put you 1" over
the F350 block size.

Mike the dealer lied. the suspension package does not matter unless it is a 2014-2015
with snow plow prep. My guess is they saw this tsb is not a warrenty repair. Mabe Crystal FORD REP. would like to chime in. (TSB # 14-0161). I still rec add a leaf,. it will lift truck ,increase payload . The stock springs still deflect when loaded.
springs & u bolts run about 150.00 . labor depends on who does it. we charge 2hrs .includes adj head lights if needed.
Also if you post your vin # i can see how truck is equipt
