Big-Foot, did you get the kit that hooks the the air compressor or just to the aerosol cans? Can't tell if you did or not by your post. The air compressor kit is much more powerful and quicker. Gets stuff farther in places like bed supports and other hard to get to body panel areas because of the pressure and volume behind it.

Maybe some of the Ford Reps who monitor these boards should take it back to the higher ups. Yea RIGH?T!
Look at your friends toyotas frame, Gurantee it's nothing like what you ever saw in a 10-20 yr old vehicle. I have a 94 which is 1 year short of the recall and the frame with only 92k on it is hammered.
I don't even want to touch it for fear. The only good thing about the truck is; it was free. My 79 ford frame doesn't even come close to that nightmare. I might try my hand at the recall and see if I can have any luck.

Nice. I'm doing my vehicles this weekend. That system makes it soooo easy.

I actually like the smell of fluid film. The only time it was a little overwhelming was when I took the plugs out of the back wall of the interior of the cab and sprayed in there. The cab stunk for a few days.

My wife said the smell reminds her of her younger years when she raised sheep, I guess it's from the lanolin.

My 2013 and my wife's 2012 have had a coat of fluid film since new(I actually coated mine before I drove it off the lot since mine didn't arrive from the factory until the middle of the winter)and after two winters the underside of my wife's truck is still as shiny as when it was new.

Oh trust me. Been there done that. I think I have an old painter outfit I'll wear too. Plus I'll be parking the vehicles in the grass. Last year my driveway was an "ice" rink after it.

Yea. Can't say I enjoy the smell at all. It's not horrible but not pleasant.

It's only "KING" if you don't mind reapplying it very frequently and don't mind your driveway looking like you own a fleet of old Harleys..
It may also attack rubber bushings and brake hoses etc.

That's why fluid film is so great it's safe on those components. I feel like the used oil can just to easily be washed off. The fluid film creates, well, a film that seems to be self healing. Yes a full winter highway running will indeed wear it off in certain locations. I just think the fluid film sticks around better but that's just this guys opinion.

I've been applying Fluid Film to my Super Duty, and I am very impressed with it. I believe it will be effective, it doesn't cause negative effects to the truck or the surrounding environment, and it's easy to touch up or reapply.
For what it offers, it's worth the money. Win, win, win.

I do find it a little comical when people will drop $30k-$50k+ on a truck and complain about needing to spend $100/year on a rust preventative............

Fluid Film is worth every penny. That's $8.33 per month if you need to spend $100 a year.
