Want to use the stock 06 07 Mustang GT wheels on my 74 f100 has an has anyone used spacers Adapters to change the bolt spacing? truck has disk in the front drums in the back. I a little concerned about load on king pings and bearings.

Wheel spacers/adapters are bad news, too much stress on studs and other parts. I have first hand experience on when things go wrong. There are many wheel options for the bolt patern you have. I would suggest you make use of the options and stay safe.

Many moons ago, back in the 70s era i used wheel adapters on the front of a 6 cylinder Ford Falcon as a cheap way to change from 4 lug to 5 lug. Not the best idea i ever came up with. The wheels had to be removed ever so often as the adapters would try to work loose. I then later after ruining the lug bolts on one side changed the spindles over the the ones made for a Falcon v/8 to get the 5 lug bolt pattern. My advice is to find a better way , my $.02 worth.__

bed off

ok the truck currently has 15 by 8 or 10 old school American racing mags thinking I will polish those up and keep them need to find some nice center caps for them and the best tire size have the DJM dream beams and drop kit for the rear. the truck is going to be a cruiser. Currently have 15 x11x32.5 wranglers as this all Walmart had instock when I purchased the truck and had to drive it over 100miles home. it had cracked sidewalls from sitting flat before the guy I bought it from start working on it

I agree also stay away from those "adaptors" if you don't remove the wheels and tighten the original nuts on the hub constanly they will work loose and mess up the original studs or worst yet lose a wheel and 60 mph !better/safer options out there for sure
